Every year, Oklahomans with legal questions may call a toll-free number and speak to an attorney at no charge.
Law Day is a public service of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
2018 marked the 42nd year OBA members offered free legal advice to the public. On May 3, 255 lawyers answered 1,418 phone calls and 361 emails, in both English and Spanish, across 25 different counties. Volunteers donated 515 hours in time and approximately $77,325 in billable hours. This annual event is a unique opportunity to provide a valuable community service while promoting a positive public image of attorneys and the OBA.
